Ndah hits back at Chiefs star after Soweto Derby comments

Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah has responded to comments made by Kaizer Chiefs striker Wandile Duba as two Soweto giants prepare to lock horns in the Soweto Derby.

The battle lines have been drawn for another edition of the historic battle between two of South Africa's biggest teams, who will meet at what will likely be a sold-out FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Amakhosi go into the encounter with a spring in their step after sealing a 1-0 victory against Lamontville Golden Arrows on Tuesday, thanks to a wonder strike by academy graduate Wandile Duba.

The 19-year-old went as far as issuing a warning to the Buccaneers in his post-match interview.

"I'll be ready for the derby," a confident Duba said on SuperSportTV after game.

"They (Pirates) should be ready for me. I'm coming."

On the opposite corner, Pirates were held to a 1-1 draw by Cape Town Spurs at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.

However, Nigerian-born defender Olisa Ndah believes previous form will count for little come derby day and says he is not worried about Duba's comments.

"I don't think it's challenge, they just scored a goal," Ndah to journalists on Thursday.

"I'm not worried about what the little guy said, I think he is more excited.

"So, I'm just looking forward to the next game. On Saturday, we just have to deliver."

Kick-off for the highly anticipated match at FNB Stadium is at 15:30.
