With Marcus Rashford linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Junaid Benjamin believes that it would be better for all parties involved if the attacker were to leave Manchester United.
The 26-year-old has endured a torrid time at the club during the 2023/24 campaign. From struggling to find goals and, to being busted for late-night partying in another country a night before he was supposed to be at training, things have not gone his way. So, perhaps packing his bags would not only be good for him, but the for United too!

What's the story?
With Kylian Mbappe seemingly on his way to Real Madrid at the end of the season, the Ligue 1 giants are said to be in the market for a potential replacement and reports suggest that they have shortlisted Rashford.
It is believed that the French side have tabled an opening bid of £75 million (R1.8 billion) with Manchester United reportedly valuing the Englishman somewhere closer to the region of £100 million (R2.3 billion).
It has also been said that PSG would be willing to go ahead with the move if the 26-year-old is willing to join the club.
Farewells are always difficult, and it would be even harder should the England international decide to take up PSG on their reported offer considering that he is a product of the esteemed Red Devils' academy.
Expectations were probably sky high when the attacker burst on the scene, scoring two goals on his Premier League debut against Arsenal in February 2016. If you fast forward to today, Rashford has become a frustrating figure at Old Trafford with inconsistent runs that has led fans to not know what they can expect from him anymore.
Last season was the best of the winger's career thus far. He netted 30 times in 56 appearances and looked as though he was full of confidence. With people excited about how he would perform this season, things have not gone expected. So far this campaign, he has struggled to replicate that form, managing just seven goals in 34 appearances.
A fresh start may be just what he needs as an individual. Perhaps Paris could offer him the chance to escape the constant scrutiny of the English media that he regularly seems to find himself under. With United being one of the biggest clubs in the world, the spotlight and pressure seems to always be on its players.
Sometimes this could lead to a player's focus being diverted from training and competition, potentially hindering their performance. While PSG are also a big club, it could still offer Rashford less time in the spotlight, a scenario that could potentially help get his mind and his focus solely on the right things: performances and winning matches.
Additionally, with the club said to have not made any moves in the January transfer window because of Financial Fair Play restrictions, the funds that could be raised from a potential sale of the attacker could give them the freedom to strengthen other areas of the squad. Since Rashford is a home-grown player, any money that the Red Devils could make from his sale would be considered as pure profit under the league's Profit and Sustainability rules, giving the side more freedom to operate in the market.
