Sekhukhune United midfielder Elias Mokwana has the blessing of chairman Simon Malatji to follow the footsteps of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Yusuf Maart.
Sekhukhune, who have only been in the DStv Premiership for three seasons, made their first big outgoing transfer in June 2022 after agreeing a deal with Chiefs for the transfer of Maart, following his impressive performances for the club and Bafana Bafana.

Maart was reportedly valued at R10 million prior to moving to the Glamour Boys and with the season coming to an end, Mokwana has been linked with a move to the Big Three clubs - Amakhosi, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who recently impressed for Bafana in the FIFA Series, reportedly has a R35 million price tag on his head, but his agent Pontsho Madumo says he does not want to entertain those talks.
However, Madumo admitted that they have a good relationship with chairman Simon Malatji.
"Look, man, it's just the media, we're not entertaining that one because we haven't heard from the team how much they value the player," Madumo tells KickOff in an exclusive interview.
"The player is close to the chairman, we're happy. We've been talking to the chairman regarding his performance and everything, but that amount, I don't know anything about it," he said.
Madumo went on and suggested that Mokwana would be allowed to grow his career elsewhere if the club receives the right offer, like they did with Maart.
"Look, Sekhukhune is an ambitious team, is a new team, where if the player is doing well (they are open to offers). Remember, they sold Maart, so if the player is doing good and there is interest, players need to go and compete at other teams and grow in their career.

"So, we're happy with Sekhukhune, with how things are working out," Madumo added.
