A Kaizer Chiefs star has made a huge announcement that could end up benefiting, and changing the lives of the next generation of South African ballers.
Sibongiseni 'Ox' Mthethwa took to social media to confirm that he will once more be hosting a tournament in which young players will get the chance to showcase their skills.

"From grassroots... the hand that gives is better than the one that receives," he wrote in an Instagram post.
"The chance we didn't get when we were young we wish others to come after us. Welcome to all of you at Mandleni abacus's to help and show off these boys talent."
Besides the opportunity it provides for the talent of young players to be put on display in front of a broader audience, a greater emphasis on grassroots football is important because it will also provide youngsters with the opportunity to develop their skills, learn the game, and improve their technique under the guidance of instructors who know what it takes to succeed and prosper at the highest level.
Mthethwa launched the tournament last year and it appeared to be a large success, with the player taking to social media to share images of the day.
"One day it will make sense. We give hope to those who need," he wrote in the caption. The 29-year-old midfielder also welcomed anyone who could help his initiative.
The midfielder wished that "hopefully young will get recognition one day."
