In his prime at SuperSport where he won the league, he emerged as the top player in the league.
Fast-forward to the year 2024, Pelembe hasn't slowed down a bit in what he does with the ball twisting and turning on the wing for Mocambola club UD Songo, where he is a justified top earner.
Songo have won three and drawn one from their opening four matches to sit second on the standings behind Black Bulls Maputo.
Pelembe has featured in all those four games (three starts and one sub) and has one goal to his name.
He was named Man of the match in his last game.
The 40-year-old has performed in such a way that he has remained in the national squad and played all three group stage games at the AFCON finals earlier this year.
