Cristiano Ronaldo now reportedly wants one of his former teammates at Manchester United to sign for Al Nassr.
The first transfer window of the 2024/25 season is on the horizon, and according to reports, Saudi Arabian clubs are expected to embark on yet another spending spree to strengthen and commercialise their league.
Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Ittihad, and Al Hilal, who are all owned by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF), are anticipated to be the biggest spenders yet again this term.

As such, Ronaldo is reportedly looking to use his influence to bring in a reinforcement, as he reportedly previously did so when his club signed Portugal compatriot Otavio at the beginning of the current season.
According to The Mirror, Al Nassr have made United star Bruno Fernandes their top transfer target after taking note of Ronaldo's wish to reunite with his countryman.

The report claims that the Saudi Pro League giants are prepared to pay a staggering £90 million (R2 billion) on the potential deal, which would be hugely valuable for United given that they are one of the clubs in Europe trying to balance their books.
However, Al Nassr do face growing competition for the midfielder's signature though, as Bayern Munich are reportedly sniffing around as well.
Speaking after Wednesday night's 3-2 win over Newcastle United at Old Trafford, Fernandes suggested he would leave United if he was no longer wanted.
"The club needs to want me," he said. "I feel the club wants me to be a part of the future. As I said always, I don't want to be a player that the club doesn't want to have. If for some reason they don't want to have me, I will go. But if they want me, I will stay."I am no different from anyone just because I have the armband. I always try my best and we always do the best we can for the club - nobody hides that we play for a big club and we have to lift our standards every game."
