Police were reportedly called to intervene in the latest episode of the fiery ongoing feud between Samuel Eto'o and the Cameroon Ministry of Sports (Minsep).
The Indomitable Lions are gearing to play Cape Verde and Angola in the next round of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but the side's preparations were halted due to a feud between the Eto'o-led Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) and Minsep.

With the matches set to take place on Saturday and 11 June, the players who were called up to the national side attended a reception at the Hilton hotel in Yaounde where staff members representing each organisation clashed, according to Pulse Sports.
It is believed that Fecafoot's presence led to the confrontation as both parties were in disagreement over the handling of the players.
Police were said to have been required to calm the situation.
The federation were then believed to have hid the training equipment of the international stars on Monday with questions being raised about the side's lack of efficient preparation for their upcoming qualifiers.
It has also been claimed that some Fecafoot members were taken in by Minsep and were assigned various coaching roles.
Those appointments, however, were said to have bypassed deputy coaches. This has reportedly put a spotlight on the power dynamics within the side.
