Mothiba has also confessed to being a staunch Mamelodi Sundowns supporter – where he came through the club's development.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs' hunt for a striker has been well-documented and some reports have linked the marksman with a possible move to Naturena.

However, speaking to SAFA media on Monday, the ex-Strasbourg man said there are no current plans to return to local football.

"For now, everything is still between me and my agent," he revealed.

"I will always have offers in Europe, I always have clubs in Europe. But for now, my focus is on my knee healing and coming back fully fit. That's why ever since I came back to South Africa, I have been focused and working every morning, every day. I am only off on Sundays, so I have been working every day.

"Here in South Africa, I don't know anything about [a deal]. I haven't spoken to any team here in South Africa. I don't know what's happening.

"My main focus is healing my knee, coming back and continuing playing in Europe."

Mothiba scored three goals in 15 appearances for his former club prior to the injury and is understood to be making speedy progress in his bid to regain match fitness.
