Former Banyana Banyana captain and current TV analyst Simphiwe Dludlu has explained why she believes the criticism of Percy Tau is warranted, given the Al Ahly attacker's calibre.
Bafana collected what could be a valuable point against Nigeria on Friday night after Fisayo Bashiru's late strike cancelled out Themba Zwane's opener in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

For Tau, it was a first return to national duty since Bafana's third-place finish at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The three-time CAF Champions League winner was called up for the match against Nigeria in a bid to shield him from further criticism, according to Broos.
However, Tau has endured more criticism across social media over his performance against the Super Eagles, particularly after he missed a golden chance to find the back of the net in the second half.
Percy Tau should be benched. Imagine if it was Mofokeng with this chance, just imagine ????

Speaking on SABC Sport's SoccerZone, Dludlu believes there is nothing wrong with the criticism the Al Ahly attacker is facing.
"We are not being too harsh, because his CV says he is the best player we have ever had right now, in the current generation," Dludlu said.
"So, we are not being too hard, we are just demanding what the CV says and what we are accustomed to.
"We are not hating him, we shouldn't hate him. We are criticizing elements where we are counting on him to give us more, that's it."
Tau and Co. will be aiming to collect all three points when they host Zimbabwe on Tuesday at Free State Stadium.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
