One of Africa's biggest teams has now punished one of their stars for picking a fight with his teammate during their latest match.
Egyptian giants Zamalek have launched an investigation into their goalkeeper, Mohamed Awwad, after he tried to pick a fight with one of his teammates, Hosam Abdel-Meguid, during a match against Al Masry on Monday.

The visitors, Al Masry, took the lead in the 20th minute of the fixture, with Fakhereedine Ben Youssef's strike ensuring a 1-0 lead for the away side heading into halt-time.
In the second half, Al Masry doubled their lead over the home side when Mohammed El Shamy scored in the 86th minute.
Immediately after the second goal went in, Zamalek keeper Awwad started pushing and shouting at his centre-back colleague Abdel-Meguid.

According to Ahram Online, Zamelek football director Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed revealed after the match that the shot-stopper's contract would be subject to a 25% salary deduction due to his behaviour towards his teammate.

Awwad was initially named on the bench for the match, but came on as a substitute for Mohamed Sobhi, who suffered a muscle injury during the pre-game warm-up.
It is understood the player is now suspended pending the outcome of the investigation, which will reportedly take place on Saturday.
