The recent revelation that Abubeker Nasir is no longer with Mamelodi Sundowns has prompted his fellow countryman Fikru Tefera to stand up and raise his voice.
Nasir will not be playing for Sundowns again after a difficult two years with the club that left him a victim of injuries.

Sundowns' patience was tested after Nasir only featured in 14 games in his first season, but once he was only able to play thrice this term, he was then de-registered in January.
He has now since been offloaded.
"The boy was unfortunate, and I believe he will come back stronger after the injury troubles at Sundowns," Tefera tells KickOff.
Tefera is an Ethiopian legend and the best from the East African country to ever play in South Africa having featured for six clubs, who included Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits and Highlands Park.
"What the boy needs now is the support because he has the quality to deliver on the field as was witnessed in the few games he played at Sundowns.
"The injury was always going to put him at a disadvantage at Sundowns because they were never going to be patient for so long.
"It wasn't by mistake that after he scored all those goals in Ethiopia, he attracted the interest of Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
"I remember when I mentioned Abu to the authorities at Chiefs while he was in Ethiopia, they showed interest.
"To me, he is a player that I have always thought would be suited to the big clubs in South Africa because he has the ability.
"Sundowns eventually took him, but it hasn't worked out because of injuries.

"He is still 24, so can still come back stronger even if it means playing in another league.
"The player will do a job at another club, though the truth is that he needs to improve on his strength to avoid injuries.
"Back home in Ethiopia, the national team still needs him, so he needs to get back to playing football at club level.
"He will come back stronger after the Sundowns troubles that I believe have helped him grow because he needed that experience.

"This was his first time playing for a club from outside Ethiopia, so he will grow from his this," says Tefera.
Nasir has already been linked with a move to North Africa, where he had strong interest prior to joining Sundowns.
