OFFICIAL: Soweto giants-linked star's future confirmed!

The news comes months after the player started gaining serious attention from various clubs in Africa and Saudi Arabia.

In April, KickOff reported that Soweto giants Orlando Pirates made an inquiry over a potential transfer but in June, the Buccaneers went on to sign Angola international Gilberto Miguel from Petro de Luanda, who coincidently also plays as a winger, while there was also speculation linking Amakhosi with the player.

This week, Yanga president Hersi Said spoke at the launch of the pre-season Toyota Cup and suggested that other South African clubs were interested in the 28-year-old.

Moreover, Algerian side CR Belouizdad are understood to have made an offer for the Burkina Faso international, with the club said to have proposed a two-year deal worth R7.9 million a year, along with a number of added benefits.

The matter has now been laid to rest, though, as Aziz Ki looks to continue in the Tanzanian top flight, where he won the league title and Golden Boot award in the 2023/24 season.
