Amid speculation regarding who his next club will be, an African star has now made a whopping salary demand to a Spanish giant.
Wilfred Ndidi became a free agent after his contract at newly promoted Premier League side Leicester City expired at the end of last month, bringing to a close his seven-year stay at the Foxes.

The Super Eagles star is now searching for a new club, with LALIGA side Sevilla FC having offered him a deal that would see him earn an estimated €1.5 million (around R29 million) a year, according to Spanish media outlet Todofichajes.
However, the Nigerian is believed to have rejected that offer, with it is being said he has demanded a yearly salary of €4 million (R78 million) from whichever club chooses to approach him, including the Spaniards.
Los Nervionenses, though, are understood to still be keen on acquiring his services, and will try to negotiate with the former EPL star in an effort to reduce his salary expectations.
It has been suggested that if the club is unable to convince the player to consider less pay, they will turn their attention to finding a player with lower wage demands.
Other clubs, including Galatasaray and Barcelona, are claimed to have expressed an interest in signing the midfielder as a means of bolstering their squads.
Sevilla will be looking to improve on their 2023/24 league campaign that saw them finish a lowly 14th place after picking up just 10 wins over the course of the season.
