Decorated South African coach Dr. Pitso Mosimane has offered a word of advice to his former assistant Rulani Mokwena, who recently joined Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca as head coach.
Mokwena shockingly parted ways with Sundowns just days before the Chloorkop-based outfit returned for pre-season training after an alleged fall-out with the club's hierarchy.
Wydad acted swiftly in contacting Mokwena's representatives a deal was finalised in a matter of days.

The 37-year-old is following in the footsteps of Mosimane, who also abruptly left Sundowns in 2020 to join Egyptian giants Al Ahly. Despite a shaky start, Mosimane went on to win two CAF Champions League titles with Al Ahly.
Speaking at the University of Johannesburg campus in Auckland Park where he was awarded an honorary doctorate for his contribution to African football, Mosimane also shared some words of advice to his apprentice.
"I haven't spoken to him (Mokwena). I don't need to speak to him now, and I'll speak to him later. Let him settle, he's just started, you know? And if he needs anything we are friends, he can call," Mosimane told journalists.
"You know how I felt when he left. I said my part. I didn't feel good that he had to leave Sundowns, but he leaves for Wydad, okay, there you are. That's the next biggest club on the continent. Those clubs are the top four clubs in the continent. You can't ignore them.
"He will still come here and meet Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.
"He will settle. He needs to be a little bit smart because the culture is not the same as in South Africa, but he will learn fast.

"There you have to be a little bit calm. It's different. It's not like here (South Africa) because once you don't do well, it becomes a problem."
Mokwena conducted his first training session with the Wydad squad on Wednesday and has recruited as many as four South African experts as part of his technical team.
