With Manchester United still looking to bolster their squad, they are now reportedly considering a shock move for one of Bafana Bafana star Lyle Foster's teammates.
The Red Devils are looking at options that could enhance their midfield, and have highlighted Burnley star Sander Berge as one of their options, according to The Athletic.

The Premier League outfit has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain star Manuel Ugarte in recent weeks, but it is claimed the Ligue 1 side is demanding €60 million (around R1.2 billion) for the player.
This is said to have forced the Erik ten Hag-led side to look elsewhere in order to try to find cheaper alternatives, and they are now believed to be exploring the option of pursuing a move for Berge.
The Red Devils are believed to have already made contact with the Norway midfielder's camp, while Burnley are also said to be open to selling the 26-year-old.
Berge impressed in significant metrics during the 2023/24 campaign, despite being part of the Clarets side that got relegated to the second tier of English football.
Last season, Berge completed 88.1% of his passes, and made an average of 4.91 progressive passes per 90, according to FBref.
Defensively, he won 93% of his aerial duels and completed an average 2.28 tackles each game. Standing at a height of 1.95m, the midfielder also a recorded a top speed of 35.90km/h, making him the 10th fastest player of the past Premier League campaign.

The Norwegian made 37 appearances last term and contributed with a goal and two assists in the 3 218 minutes of playing time he managed to rack up for the Clarets.
