Manchester City have now reportedly agreed a deal that will see one of the club's biggest stars depart the Etihad.
With Julian Alvarez having been linked with a move away from the Citizens in recent weeks, an agreement has now been struck between the English giants and LALIGA outfit Atletico Madrid, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

It is claimed the two parties have settled on a deal that would see the Argentina star potentially move on for a fee of £82 million (about R1.9 billion), plus add-ons.
It will be a record sale for City should the move materialise.
The only thing remaining now is said to be personal terms, which is to be finalised with the 24-year-old attacker's camp.
Alvarez now looks set to become the LALIGA side's third signing of the window.
This comes after Atletico brought in Robin Le Normand from Real Sociedad and Alexander Sorloth from Villarreal, while they are still interested in Chelsea's Conor Gallagher too.

The Argentine, meanwhile, has previously hinted at favouring a move away from the club in this window.
Despite making 53 appearances over the course of last season, he admitted that he does not like being left out of important games, and said that he would think about his future after representing Argentina at the Olympic Games in Paris.
