It is now being reported that reigning Premier League champions Manchester City are set to drop a special edition 2024/25 kit commemorating one of Britain's most iconic music superstars. Here's a look!
The story
The Citizens have already unveiled a stunning collection of their home, away, and third kits for the new campaign but reports now suggest that a tribute shirt will be released in the coming weeks.
According to World Soccer Talk, the club will launch a phenomenal collaboration with UK musician Noel Gallagher, who is known to be a lifelong supporter of the Manchester outfit.

It is understood that the kit will also be made by global sportwear giant, PUMA, with Gallagher's involvement in the design adding a unique cultural layer as it will pay homage to his legendary rock band Oasis.
When asked about these rumors during an interview in April 2024, Gallagher said: "Yes, where have you heard that?
"I can't say too much, but it's a 'Definitely Maybe'-inspired third kit and it's far-out. I've seen it, I designed it. It's got a massive picture of my head on all the tops!
"No, it's great. It's been a real honor to do it for the 30th anniversary. It's amazing."
Due to the fact that the inspiration behind the new strip is the 30th anniversary of Oasis's debut album 'Definitely Maybe', Football Headlines suggests that it could be launched on Thursday, 29 August - the exact day that the album was released back in 1994.
