Meet Baroka's former number one supporter

They say loyalty does not pay the bills, and in this week's edition of Supporters Forum, Alfred Seroka, previously Baroka FC's number one supporter, reveals why he dumped the Limpopo side for Sekhukhune United.

Name of supporter:

"My full name is Alfred Ramokgobeng Seroka. I'm from Burgersfort. I'm just hustling. I also help aspiring footballers find clubs."

Clubs supported?

"I started at Kaizer Chiefs because of my parents, and from there, I went to Baroka FC. I felt like I should support Limpopo teams.

"After the birth of Sekhukhune United, I decided to change again since they are from home in Burgersfort.

"At Baroka, I was a number one supporter."

How long have you been supporting Sekhukhune?

"I became a Sekhukhune supporter last season. This is my second season at Sekhukhune."

Are you happy with the bosses?

"I am very happy with the club's management; they give us free transport to attend games as far as Durban. If we are tired after games, they even book [accommodation] for us."

Are you happy with the coach?

"I was not happy when they replaced Lehlohonolo Seema, but now that he has been retained, I am very happy again because I am very close to Seema. We do talk, me and the coach."

Are you happy with the players?

"You see, when it comes to the players, I respect any decision the team takes because that's something that is under the club management.

"But I'm happy with the likes of Thabang Monare and Keletso Makgalwa – those are good signings. I think I'm happy with what we've got so far this season, and we are ready."

Who do you want them to sign?

"I wish they could sign Sammy Seabi. He used to perform very well. As a Limpopo boy, he needs to come back and help the team from his province so that it can grow. And also Mzwanele Mahashe, I don't know why he was released, but I think he deserves to come back."

Your message to the team?

"Our coach must know he's got our full support, so he must just help our team to continue growing.  As for the players, they must continue where they left off."
