Fadlu Davids' Simba SC have continued their perfect start to this season's league campaign with an emphatic 4-0 victory on the weekend.
The Reds of Msimbazi completed the 2023/24 campaign in an unfavourable position as they managed only a third-place finish on the log, behind Azam FC and record Tanzanian champions Young Africans.

However, it seems Simba's new South African tactician is eager to end the recent dominance of the latter pair following his first two results with the east African giants in their domestic top flight.
In his first league encounter of the campaign, Davids led his new team to a 3-0 victory over Tabora United, and he has followed that up with an even bigger victory, when his charges beat Singida Fountain Gate FC 4-0 at the KMC Stadium on Sunday.
The NBC Premier League juggernauts eased past last season's 11th-placed side, opening the scoring through winger Edwin Balua and then doubling their lead shortly before half-time courtesy of a strike from new signing Steven Mukwala.
Two of Simba's other new recruits rounded off the scoring for the table-toppers as Jean Charles Ahoua made it 3-0 before Valentino Mashaka scored his second goal of the season in the 80th minute to make it 4-0 on the day.
