Uganda have named a 28-man squad, including two South Africa-based stars, ahead of their important clash against Bafana Bafana in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
International football is set to make a return next week, and CAF nations are scheduled to kick-start their 2025 AFCON qualifying campaigns.

In July, CAF confirmed the draw for the 48 teams set to take part in the qualifiers, with Bafana drawn in Group K alongside Congo, South Sudan, and Uganda.
Hugo Broos' side will open their campaign against the latter on Friday, 6 September, at Orlando Stadium, before an away fixture against South Sudan just four days later.
Uganda, who have failed to qualify for the previous two editions of the tournament, have since confirmed their squad that will face Bafana and Congo next month, including goalkeeping duo Isima Watenga of Golden Arrows and Charles Lukwago of Venda FC.
