With Angola international Inacio Miguel having joined Kaizer Chiefs, it seems that the defender could have had a dream reunion with a South African national team player he played with in Portugal. Here's a look!
The story
Amakhosi have confirmed five new arrivals in the current transfer window, namely Bongani Sam, Gaston Sirino, Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, and Miguel, who is the only signing from a foreign club made by the Soweto giants.
The Angolan star penned a three-year deal with Chiefs after an impressive 18-month stint with Petro de Luanda. His arrival has been met with some excitement among the club supporters, as he is expected to add much-needed defensive reinforcement in Nasreddine Nabi's squad.

Notably, Miguel's arrival comes during the same window where Chiefs were linked with the signing of his former teammate and South African star Luther Singh.
A few months ago, KickOff exlusively revealed that Chiefs had opened talks with Singh over a potential transfer, as the winger was a free agent at the time.
Ultimately, the move faded from fruition as Chiefs were reportedly leapfrogged in the race to sign the 27-year-old and the Bafana Bafana player later joined AEL Limassol in the Cyprus top-flight.
One could assume that a fairytale ending would've seen Singh and Miguel reunite at Naturena after having played together at SC Braga in Portugal.
According to Transfermarkt, the two players starred in 24 matches together for Braga's B team in the 2016/17 season, with the club ending the season in seventh place in the Portugal LigaPro (reserve league).
In total, Miguel made 57 appearances for Braga B, while Singh wore the shirt 52 times. One can only imagine what their reuinion would have comprised for the Glamour Boys.
