Chippa United appear to have over-valued goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali when they offered him to Kaizer Chiefs, with KickOff having established that the Chilli Boys have dropped their asking price to interested suitors.
Nwabali reportedly attracted interest from unnamed clubs in France and Saudi Arabia after helping the Super Eagles reach the final of the Africa Cup of Nations between January and February this year.

This website previously reported that the Gqeberha-based outfit slapped a €2 million (R40 million) price tag on the buff shot-stopper at the peak of his performance at the above-mentioned tournament.
The astronomical figure immediately put Chiefs, who were in the market for goalkeeper, out of the running, as they were also linked with the signature of Nwabali.
After a move for the 28-year-old did not materialize, there were reports that the Chilli Boys approached Amakhosi, with a lowered price tag of R10 million during off-season.
"I just hope [Chippa] can sell Stanley for R10 million," Morgan Mammila said in an interview on Metro FM in June as he reflected on his short stay the club.
However, Chiefs settled for Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy, whom they reportedly acquired for a fee in the region of R5 million.
Chippa head coach Kwanele Kopo told this publication this week that they are relieved Nwabali would be staying on after speculation around his future during the off-season.

Word reaching KickOff, however, is that, in fact, Chippa have still placed the Nigerian on the shopping window and are open to talks to transfer the burly shot-stopper, with European clubs quoted $200, 000 (R3,5 million) for the deal to happen.
Nwabali was valued at R10 million by Transfermarkt in June, a considerable jump from around R4,5 million before the AFCON.
