An African nation has once again snubbed one of the Soweto giants' newest stars for their latest squad ahead of the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The transfer window ahead of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season saw many foreign stars arrive in the South African top flight.

Several clubs secured signings from outside the country, including AmaZulu, Cape Town City, Chippa United, Marumo Gallants and Richards Bay FC.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the so-called big three clubs, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, also shopped in foreign markets this past window, with the three juggernauts welcoming the likes of Inacio Miguel, Arthur Sales, and Gilberto, respectively.
The former Petro de Luanda pair of Inacio and Gilberto both represent the Angola national team, but the new Chiefs defender has now been snubbed by his country despite his impressive start in the Betway Premiership, where he has registered one goal in three appearances.
Pirates winger Gilberto, though, has been recalled to the squad after missing the September international fixtures.
Although he made his Angola debut in October 2020, Inacio still only has five caps to his name, with his last call-up coming at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Angola boss Pedro Goncalves does not seem to count on the new Amakhosi recruit currently, with the 28-year-old having also failed to be named in the squad in the three previous international breaks.
