After beating Al Ahly in the CAF Super Cup, a Zamalek star has revealed he had to be at his best to stop Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau from being a threat.
The South African attacker was included in the Red Devils starting line-up by manager Marcel Koller last Friday, but the team went on to suffer a defeat in the encounter that pitted the winners of last season's CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup against one another.

The former Brighton Hove Albion forward went into the game in good form, having already bagged two goals in the CAFCL preliminary rounds last month.
The Club of the Century opened the scoring when Wessam Abou Ali converted a penalty just before the half-time break.
The Bafana Bafana star was brought in the 65th minute, but just over 10 minutes later, the game was brought back to level terms when Nasery Mansy got on the end of the cross and found the back of the net.
After the teams could not be separated, a winner had to be determined through a penalty shootout, which Zamalek won by four goals to three.
While the former Mamelodi Sundowns star was not able to get his name on the scoresheet on that occasion, White Castle defender Mahmoud Bentayg has since touched on his experience of trying to defend against the attacker.
"The player I liked most in Al Ahly was Percy Tau, and I was at the peak of my focus during the match to be able to stop him," the 24-year-old said during a television appearance, per Akhbar el-Yom.
"Al Ahly is a big team, but I was not afraid to face them because I love big matches and we sought to win them, like the rest of the matches.
"Every player knew the roles required of him against Al Ahly and I knew my role, and the match was not easy."
