Moreover, the diminutive attacker played a crucial role in the final against Stellenbosch FC, as he scored the equaliser.
Now a history maker as well, Saleng has tattooed the achievement on his body. On his right leg, the Pirates crest is inked on the back of his ankle alongisde the MTN8 trophy.
It remains unconfirmed when Saleng decided to add this tattoo as this may have taken place in the pass.

Saleng joined Pirates in July 2021 from Free State stars. He was immediately sent out on a season-long loan at the now defunct Moroka Swallows.
Since then, the 26-year-old has enjoyed three great seasons with Pirates and in the 2022/23 season, he was named the DStv Premiership Players' Player of the Season and MTN8 Last Man Standing.
He has also earned himself five caps for Bafanan Bafana, although his last appearance came in September 2023.
