The forward netted 25 goals for his side Yunnan Yukun this term, which is the most he has ever scored in a single season during his lengthy and nomadic career, according to Soccer24.

Additionally, Mushekwi helped his side win promotion to the Chinese Super League next year, as Yukun were crowned champions of the 2024 Chinese League One with a nine-point gap at the top of the table.

It is not the first time that the ex-Warriors talisman won the golden boot in the same league, having previously won it three years ago

His 25 goals in 30 league games was also accompanied by four assists, meaning that he averages a goal contribution in almost every match.

During his last two campaigns in the Chinese top division in 2022 and 2023, he ended both seasons with 18 goals, which remains that most he has scored in the Super League.

Since moving to China, Mushekwi has made a total of 142 appearances, registering 93 goals and 11 assists.
