A former Al Ahly star has suggested that it would be difficult for Percy Tau to continue plying his trade at the Egyptian outfit beyond this season.
Speculation around Percy Tau's future at Al Ahly has intensified following his limited role in the club's opening league fixtures this season.

The South African star has been benched for the Red Devils' first two matches in the Egyptian Premier League this term, only appearing as a substitute.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, whispers of an imminent exit appear to be growing louder.
Recent reports suggest that Ahly are in the market for two foreign players – a striker and a winger – to strengthen their squad as they prepare for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
This potential recruitment drive has further cast doubt on Tau's place in Marcel Koller's long-term plans.
Speaking on Tau's uncertain future, former Al Ahly star Ahmed Adel shared his views on the player's situation.
"It is difficult for Percy Tau to continue with Al Ahly and become confrontational with the technical staff," Mohamed told ONTime Sports per El Balad.
"There are players who always maintain a relationship with the technical director, and the player's days are numbered. I believe that he will leave in January with a high probability.
"Al Ahly will certainly choose good players in January, and there will certainly be new players. Any player contracted must participate as a starter."
