Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau has reportedly responded to Al Ahly's latest offer as he nears the end of his current deal.
The South African's time with the CAF Champions League holders looks increasingly like it will come to an end, with his contract expected to expire in June 2025.

Tau has not been a regular for Al Ahly this campaign, having played a total of 11 minutes in the Egyptian Premier League under Marcel Koller.
Egyptian publication KingFut claim that local reports that Al Ahly have offered to pay Tau $300,000 (R5.4million) as part of the mutual termination agreement.
That agreement would allow the former Mamelodi Sundowns star to leave the African champions in January, allowing him to join any club of his desire on a free transfer.
However, the reports in Egypt claim that Tau has rejected that offer and is standing firm on the original $600,000 that he is owed in his contract.
Should Tau leave the Egyptian giants in January, that would open a slot for a new foreign player to be signed.
Tau has been with Al Ahly since 2021 after leaving Brighton and Hove Albion, and has gone on to register 29 goals and 13 assists in 117 appearances across all competitions.
