Mamelodi Sundowns' slow start in the CAF Champions League group stages has been thoroughly explained by their former assistant coach, Farouk Khan.
The South African champions are still looking for their first win in the group stages following their two draws against AS FAR Rabat and Maniema.
Sundowns are with FAR Rabat, Maniema, and Raja Casablanca in Group B, with only two points gathered.

"I suppose the changes in the technical team after Rulani Mokwena left is the reason, and obviously they wanna make their mark," Khan tells KickOff.
"Manqoba Mngqithi said he wants the team to be forward-thinking. In fairness, you have to allow him to instill his philosophy.
"Since Pitso Mosimane won the Champions League in 2016, Sundowns has been struggling to win the cup, finishing in the semi-final even.
"So Manqoba found it necessary to make sure the team was better than they were post Pitso Mosimane.
"It's only logical that when the coach has such aspiration that the fans and the management support him.
"I think they played well in the last game that they drew, but again, these things happen, especially when you rebuilding a team.
"When Pep Guardiola took over at Bayern Munich, the team had just won three titles, but they still saw it fit to bring Guardiola in. When he came, there was a purpose.
"Similarly Manqoba is there to prepare Sundowns for greater things to come. For Sundowns, having won the league so many times, it makes sense they want to win the Champions League.
"And I think they are doing a good job him and Steve Komphela and the technical team. It's just that we are too used to them winning everything in the past. We are so spoiled by Sundowns having to win.

"Iqraam Rayners has given them a new dimension, Arthur Sales has given them a new dimension. It takes time for these players to settle in.
"Peter Shalulile is not as clinical as he was in the past, and it's easy for us to criticize from the outside, but it's always expected when a team bloods in new players.
"Manqoba Mngqithi should be given time and support for him to make this Sundowns team unstoppable."
