Mokwena reportedly met with club president Hicham Ait Mena earlier this week, where it was agreed that the club will bring in a local coach to help the technical team while the head coach was also assured of his future.
According to LeSiteInfo, the former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician held a special meeting with the first teams squad ahead of Saturday's clash against Moghreb Teto.
The report claims that Mokwena instilled enthusiasm and strong desire to the players in order to get back on the winning trail and continue their climb up the standings.
The meeting seemed to have paid off as Wydad claimed a 2-1 victory over Moghreb at the Stade Saniat Rmel on Saturday evening.
The win sees the Red Castle sit in fifth position on the league table, three points adrift of the top-two positions.
