Super Human impresses Zwane

AmaZulu FC co-coach Arthur Zwane had plenty of praise for midfielder Rowan Human, who earned a second Man of the Match accolade in a row when the side drew against Kaizer Chiefs.

Usuthu settled for a 2-2 draw against Amakhosi at FNB Stadium on Tuesday. Elmo Kambidu and Tshepang Moremi scored the visitors' goals, both assisted by Human.

The 24-year-old also registered a goal and an assist against SuperSport United on Saturday, taking his overall contribution thus far this term to two goals and five assists from 16 appearances.

"I think the advantage me and coach 'Kanu' [Vusumuzi Vilakazi] have is us having been in the development structures for quite some time, and trying to understand how these young players do things," said Zwane when asked on Human's revival.

"Sometimes we become too harsh on them, but you also look at the situation, as to whether he can be able to handle the pressure.

"If he's able to take the pressure, then you put him under pressure and challenge him because you want to get the best out of him.

"I think he is one of the players that has responded to that positively and we needed now to take him to another level, to push him, because he can be a player that is very important for the club for a long time, which is good because it's also the club's investment.

"So, it's always good for us to see the youngsters doing well for themselves and carrying the team."

"This is the season of youngsters doing well and we are trying to push all the youngsters we have," added the former winger.

AmaZulu next take on Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
