In a shocking twist of events, a Real Madrid star could be facing up to five years in prison following accusations of sharing an explicit video of a minor.
Real claimed a 3-2 win over Manchester City in the first-leg round of 16 play-off in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
One of the players fielded by the Spanish giants on the night Raul Asencio could be facing prison sentenced after he was named among four men accused of sharing an explicit video of a 16-year-old girl.

According to the Daily Mail, Asencio and his former Real youth academy teammates Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodriguez, and Andres Garcia have been under investigation for the alleged incident.
It is claimed that the incident took place in June 15, 2023 in Gran Canaria and the alleged victim's mother filed a complaint at the Spanish police less than two months later.
The mother alleges that one of the four men recorded an X-rated video of her daughter before sharing it. It is also stated that the complainant revealed that sexual activity was consensual but the filming of it was not.
Asencio, who only made his first-team debut for Real in November 2024, submitted an application to be dropped as a suspect in the case, arguing that the evidence was speculative.
Daily Mail claim that the court determined that there are 'reasonable indications' of criminal activity, with Asencio facing allegations of committing the crime of discovery and disclosure of secrets, plus distributing child pornography.
However, the Provincial Court of Las Palmas denied his appeal, with the charges against the 21-year-old upheld after the court determined that there are 'reasonable indications' of criminal activity.
Asencio is facing serious allegations of discovery and disclosure of secrets, plus distributing child pornography, as the court ruled that one of the suspects claimed it was Asencio who showed him the video via WhatsApp.
The centre-back is currently having a breakout season at the Santiago Bernabeu, where he has already made 22 appearances so far, according to Transfermarkt.
