A former member of Al Ahly's Planning Committee has blamed club manager Marcel Koller for Percy Tau's decline in form in Egypt, which eventually led to the South African leaving the club in favour of a move to Qatar.
Tau completed a move to Qatar SC during the January transfer window, ending months of speculation about his future at Al Ahly.

According to reports in Egypt, things began to sour between Tau and his former Swiss boss earlier this season, as it was reported that the latter wanted to get rid of the Bafana Bafana star to make way for new foreign signings.
Tau's minutes on the pitch began to noticeably dwindle, while he was also left out of the team on a few occasions.
Since Tau left Al Ahly a month ago, some members of the Egyptian media, including pundits, have expressed discontent with his exit.
Moreover, former Al Ahly star Amr El-Hadidi even claimed that Tau was seeing a psychiatrist due to how poorly he was being treated by Koller.
Now, Mohsen Saleh, a former member of Al Ahly's Planning Committee, has also pointed to Koller as the reason behind Tau's woes in Cairo before his abrupt departure.
According to Al-Saleh Sport, the former Al Ahly chief said: "We signed Percy Tau and Reda Slim, both of whom are top-class players and performed exceptionally well before being surprisingly benched.
"This led to a decline in their form, and the responsibility for this lies with the coach."
Saleh, who also worked as Al Ahly's Managing Director of Sport, questioned the decision to allow Mali international and close friend of Tau, Aliou Dieng, to leave the team.
"In my opinion, Aliou Dieng should return to Al Ahly, as he is the first line of defence against opposition attacks. I was against his loan move."
