Mamelodi Sundowns' defeat to TS Galaxy could come as a blow to a number of fringe players who were looking forward to game-time against amateur side Mpheni Home Defenders in the Nedbank Cup.
Sundowns will be desperate to redeem themselves in the Nedbank Cup round of 16 clash on Sunday, and head coach Miguel Cardoso could be compelled to play a strong team.

He was signed from Cape Town City already carrying an injury and has not been in the squad since his unveiling.
Kutlwano Letlhaku
The youngster scored a brace for Sundowns' DStv Diski Challenge Challenge side in the 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs, on the same day the senior team thrashed Orlando Pirates 4-1.
Neo Maema
Jayden Adams' has seemingly pushed the midfielder further down the pecking order. He last featured in a 5-2 win over Sibanye Golden Stars towards the end of January.
Kegan Johannes
The lanky fullback made his first start in the Yellow shirt against TS Galaxy but was substituted at half-time, with Thapelo Morena coming on.
Terrence Mashego
The dreadlocked player is yet to get minutes in the league this calendar year. The former Cape Town City man last made an appearance in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 clash against Sibanye.
Arthur Sales
The return to form of Peter Shalulile has seen the Brazilians miss out in the last four matches. He last featured for 90 minutes against Sibanye.
Sphelele Mkhulise
The pint-sized attacker had a bitter pill to swallow after he substituted in the first stanza for tactical reasons in a 4-0 thrashing of Golden Arrows.

Matias Esquivel
He made his first appearance since his return from a loan spell at CA Talleres off the bench in a 3-0 Tshwane Derby win over SuperSport United.
The Argentine did not make the squad in the subsequent two games.
Kobamelo Kodisang
The return from injury of Tashreeq Matthews has dented Kodisang's playing chances, as the 25-year-old has played for only five minutes in the last three matches.
Thapelo Maseko
The former SuperSport winger has played for the Diski Challenge side for the better part of the season, though has come off the bench in the last three matches.
Denis Onyango
In spite of being a second-choice goalkeeper, he did not feature in the Carling Knockout campaign and was also not in the line-up in the Nedbank Cup first-round clash against Sibanye.
