The former Amakhosi striker was previously on the books of  Persian Gulf Pro League side Zob Ahan Esfahan, where he only lasted two months before leaving in January.

The 27-year-old made his debut for Alger on Thursday evening and managed to find the back of the net in a 2-1 loss to El Bayadh.

The defeat has left Alger in third position on the Algerian Ligue 1 table, five points behind league leaders MC Alger after 18 matches played.

Bimenyimana will be aiming to keep his scoring run going when Alger hosts ES Mostaganem in their next Ligue 1 encounter on Thursday evening.
