Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has named his preliminary squad for upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin, with a recall for an Orlando Pirates star.
Broos' troops are set to host Lesotho on Monday, 17 March, before playing guests to Benin seven days later.
Ahead of those to qualifiers, the Belgian has named a 37-man strong squad that will later be trimmed to a final 23 at a later stage.

The squad is mostly comprised of the regulars such as captain Ronwen Williams, Teboho Mokoena, and Oswin Appollis, amongst others.
There are also some new faces with former Kaizer Chiefs academy star and current TS Galaxy centre-back Khulumani Ndamase receiving his first call-up.
The 20-year-old is joined by teammate Samukelo Kabini, who also receives a first nod.

Meanwhile, previously exiled Jayden Adams has been handed a chance to make a return to the final squad, as is Buccaneers hitman Mabasa.
The pair's recent top-drawer performances would not have gone unnoticed by Broos and his technical team.
As many as nine Mamelodi Sundowns are in the preliminary squad, with eight from Pirates, while Rushwin Dortley is the only Kaizer Chiefs player that makes the cut.
