Bafana Bafana Hugo Broos has issued his verdict on the performance of Percy Tau, who marked his return to the national team in a 2-0 win over Lesotho.
Bafana made easy work of neighbours Lesotho with a 2-0 win at New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday evening.
Jayden Adams and Relebohile Mofokeng each scored in the second half to hand South Africa a precious three points in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

While the duo scored their first goals in national team colours, the match also marked a return to the national team for one Percy Tau.
The 30-year-old had not been part of Bafana Bafana since June 2024, with Broos having citing Tau's instability at then-club Al Alhy.
Having left the Egyptian outfit for UAE side Qatar SC, Tau was called up to the latest Bafana squad.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Broos said he believes the best is yet to come for Tau.
"I said I could not be happy with the performance of Percy in previous [Bafana] games. It was not the level of Percy," Broos explained.
"Today he had a fantastic game, but he also worked a lot. Now he is used to playing games. When you don't have games there is no rhythm. I am sure we will more and more see the best of Percy now that he is playing in Qatar.
"There can, always be more, and to be honest we expect more. But I am very happy with his performance today because he worked a lot for the team."
