Decorated South African and a recent recipient of an honorary doctorate from the University of Johannesburg, Dr. Pitso Mosimane, has been advised against returning to the PSL.
Mosimane has been without a club since he ended a brief stint with Saudi Pro League side Abha Club in the Gulf region.
He was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, but that role eventually went to Belgian-Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi.

By his own admission, the three-time CAF Champions League winner has no shortage of options as he ponders his next move.
However, Jomo Sono has warned that returning to the PSL would be a 'step down' for the Kagiso-born coach, who has already won league titles with Mamelodi Sundowns.
"He has money now, he can rest a bit," Sono told journalists.
"But I think he shouldn't stay out of the game too long. I think he should go beyond coaching here.
"He's a top-class coach and I think if he coaches here, he's going one step down. I think he should be looking for a job outside the country. If Rulani [Mokwena] can get it, he can also get it.
"His CV is unbelievable."

Mosimane left Sundowns in 2020 to take charge of Egyptian giants Al Ahly, where he would win the CAF Champions League twice.
On the African continent, 'Jingles' has paved the way for coaches like Mokwena, who is now with Wydad Casablanca in Morocco, and Fadlu Davids, now at the helm of Simba SC in Tanzania.
