As shared by TFF's Media and Communication Officer, Clifford Mario Ndimbo, the federation has been required to provide the name of an alternative stadium between March 12 and March 14, 2025.
''The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has temporarily closed the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam due to the continued deterioration of the playing area (pitch),'' Ndimbo said in a statement, per IPP Media.
''CAF has directed that the area be improved quickly to reach the required standards to avoid the Stadium being closed for a long time.
''The quarter-final match of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) between Simba and Al Masry of Egypt is scheduled to be played at the stadium on April 9, 2025.
