Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has shared his opinion on who he believes is superior between the Citizens icon Yaya Toure and the club's current midfielder Rodri.
Toure was fantastic to watch during his playing times, while the 28-year-old Rodri has become one of the top players for Pep Guardiola's star-studded team.

Nevertheless, the Ivorian ex-midfield maestro was unfortunate not to win the Ballon d'Or award while shining for the English Premier League side until he retired in 2019.
In contrast, the Spanish player was named as the best player in the world after claiming the prestigious accolade, Ballon d'Or in 2024, beating Real Madrid stars Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

Although Hart honoured both Toure and Rodri, he chose the retired African footballer over the former Atletico Madrid star while expressing his opinion on the debate.
''Rodri or Yaya Toure?'' Hart was asked, as quoted by Manchester City News.
''Yaya or Rodri. Rodri is a Ballon d'Or winner, the best in the world at the moment, but I have so much love for Yaya and what he did when I was playing, so I'm going to pick Yaya.''
