A former Al Nassr official has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo should move on from the Saudi Pro League club, despite reports of a contract extension.
Saud Al-Sarami, the ex-official spokesman for the Riyadh-based outfit, has voiced his opinion that renewing Ronaldo's deal would not be the best move for the side.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's current contract expires at the end of the season, but reports indicate that he has already agreed to a one-year extension, with the possibility of an additional renewal.
Speaking to Al-Arabiya FM per Kooora, Al-Sarami highlighted Ronaldo's impact but also hinted that a fresh challenge might be more beneficial for both parties.
"I mentioned more than a month ago that Ronaldo had already reached an agreement with Al Nassr to extend his contract for two more seasons, not just one," he said.
"Cristiano is a massive asset for the Saudi League. He is professional, honours his contracts, and does everything to excite the fans."
However, Al-Sarami believes Al Nassr should be looking ahead.
"Ronaldo is now 40 years old, and the club has recently signed Jhon Duran. I think it would have been better for Cristiano to continue playing in Saudi Arabia, but for a different team instead of Al Nassr."
Despite his age, Ronaldo continues to deliver on the pitch. So far this season, he has racked up 24 goals and four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions, proving his immense value to the squad.
Al Nassr currently sit third in the Saudi Pro League table with 41 points from 19 matches. They trail second-placed Al Hilal by six points and league leaders Al Ittihad by eight, as they continue to push for the title.

While speculation around Ronaldo's future persists, his performances suggest he still has plenty to offer at the highest level—whether at Al Nassr or elsewhere.
