Al Ahly and the Buccaneers last squared off on matchday two, with the Group C fixture ending in a goalless stalemate.
With both sides already assured of their places in the next round, this match is all about pride and momentum as they seek to close out the group stage on a high.
Speaking on television, Zinnbauer expressed his admiration for both teams but highlighted Al Ahly's edge in experience and character.
"I know my teams, Al-Ahly and Orlando Pirates, well. The South African team is performing wonderfully in the African Champions League and has distinguished players," the German tactician said per Al Shorouk.
"I think that the match between Al-Ahly and Orlando Pirates will be difficult. Al-Ahly's character makes it more likely to win against Orlando Pirates in Saturday's match."
"Al-Ahly is an experienced team in the Champions League and will qualify as the group leader and is the first candidate to win the African title in every edition," he added.
The former Al-Wehda boss, who has also been linked with coaching roles in Egypt, confirmed that he once held discussions with Zamalek but was unable to reach an agreement due to personal reasons.
"As for Zamalek club, yes, there were extensive negotiations with its officials to train the team, but some things did not happen as I had hoped, so these negotiations did not succeed and my training of the Zamalek team was hindered for personal reasons," he said.
"I hope to work as a coach in Egypt in the coming period, and Zamalek Club currently has a good coach, Christian Gross."
