Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat has been nominated along with other athletes for the esteemed Annual National Sports Awards.
Billiat had an impressive performance for Yadah FC last season where he played 26 matches, netting 13 goals and providing 11 assists, totaling 24 goal contributions.
After a remarkable season with Yadah in his inaugural year at the club, Khama, who is now plying his trade at Scottland FC in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, received the Castle Soccer Stars Fans Choice Award.

In addition, he finished as the runner-up for Soccer Star of The Year accolade, having been bested for the title by his current Scottland FC teammate and fellow Zimbabwean Walter Musona, as well as Lynoth Chikuhwa.
According to Zimbabwean newspaper, The Herald, the 34-year-old star is amongst the nominees for the ANSA's 'People's Choice' award alongside competitors from a variety of other sports.

The 2015/16 PSL Player of the Season will vie for the honuor with France-based basketball player Vitalis Chikoko, swimmer Paige Van Der Westhuizen, and tennis player Sasha Chimedza, amongst several other talented athletes.
It has also been noted that this marks the return of the Annual National Sports Awards after a five-year break, with the event set to take place on March 30 at the Cresta Lodge, Msasa.
