The president of the Moroccan National Professional League, Abdel Salam Belqchour, has made an admission regarding Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic Club amidst errors made by referees in the Botola Pro League.
There have been complaints in the Moroccan league concerning the quality of officiating. The Red Castle are one of the teams who have lost significant points due to questionable decisions by the match officials.
Since his arrival at Wydad at the beginning of the season, Mokwena has been voicing concerns about poor decisions, stating that some of the goals scored by his team were unjustly disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee.

Consequently, throughout the season, Wydad has been filing complaints to the Moroccan football federation, and now Belqchour has acknowledged that Wydad are indeed the victim of refereeing mistakes after assessing the complaints lodged.
''There were refereeing errors against Wydad, and I say this based on the directorate's statements when it did justice to the team on various occasions," Belqshour told Radio Mars, per Le Site Sport.
''I build on these testimonies because I am not an expert in the field of refereeing, and I am not authorized to talk about one shot or another or criticize one referee over another, given that his performance is at a certain level. I built on the directorate's statements, which sometimes did justice to Wydad, through the interventions of some referees that were not correct.
''We received a number of complaints regarding Wydad's arbitration and referred them to the management. This is the reason for the idea of bringing in a figure like Ismail Al-Fath, who is internationally known, to assess this stage and propose a new roadmap for Moroccan arbitration, which also includes activating and taking into account responsibility and seriousness in dealing with Wydad's complaints.''
