With Zinedine Zidane having reportedly received a mouthwatering offer from Al Nassr, the French boss is now said to have made a decision on the potential reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Real Madrid manager has been without a job since leaving the Spanish giants back in May 2021 on the back of a trophy-less campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu – the first time Los Blancos had gone an entire season with winning a title since the 2009/10 campaign.

There have been no shortage of offers since, with clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United having previously attempted to lure him to the Premier League, while national teams such as the United States and Brazil were also reported to be interested in his services during his prolonged sabbatical.
The latest party to have made an offer for Zidane is believed to be Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, who currently have an interim coach at the helm after they parted ways with former boss Rudi Garcia in April amid reported differences between him and Ronaldo.
According to Foot Mercato, the Saudi Pro League giants have made a proposal worth €150 million (R3.1 billion) over two seasons to the 50-year-old, which would make him the best-paid manager in the world.
However, it is further claimed that he has turned down the bid as his interest lies only in managing in Europe's top five leagues, with his decision sinking any chance of a fairy-tale reunion with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in Riyadh.
Ronaldo enjoyed great success under Zidane in Madrid, with the pair winning an unprecedented three UEFA Champions League titles in a row between 2015 and 2018 together, and the marksman registering 112 goals and 30 assists in 114 games during that glittering spell.

Although there are reports the former Manchester United star wants an early return to Europe just six months into his two-year deal in the Middle East, Al Nassr are continuing their pursuit of high-profile names in the sport, which includes managers after they reportedly approached AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho about the last month.
