Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter says there are a few players who put their hands up for starting berths ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Bafana played to a goalless draw with Ghana in a practice match in Dubai on Saturday afternoon, and Baxter was satisfied with the result and the fact that players put up their hands to start the team's opening AFCON qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Baxter had two starting line-ups for the clash against the Black Stars and everybody got a chance to feature.
"It was our first game and because of that we played everybody in the squad. To draw 0-0 with the Black Stars when we've rotated the whole team is not bad. So as an exercise, yes you'd like to win, but I think we achieved what we wanted to achieve," Baxter said.
Asked if he has an idea of his starting line-up, Baxter said: "I'm looking at that tonight and I'm saying there are some players who put their hands up and some players maybe weakened their case. Who I thought that was won't go in the media.
"I thought the players that you think would be in the starting line-up did quite well."
