Watch extended video highlights as South Africa's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign got off to a losing start against Ghana.
The Black Stars took the lead in the 36th minute courtesy of a low Thomas Partey drive from range that left goalkeeper Ronwen Williams stranded, either unsighted or completely undone by the skidding shot.
Ghana's lead was doubled in the 80th minute as Mohammed Kudus dispossessed Thamsanqa Mkhize in his own half, strode forward and sent a right-footed shot into the top corner from just inside the penalty area.
