Richard Ofori expects tough test for Ghana from Bafana Bafana in AFCON 2021 qualifier in Accra

The Maritzburg United goalkeeper is one of the familiar faces South Africa will face when they cross swords with the Black Stars in Accra, with kick-off at 21h00.

Having played in South Africa for the past few seasons, Ofori has insight into what to expect from Bafana.

"It's a very good game to play Bafana. I know they are quality, they have quality players. It's good to play big countries because South Africa is a big country," said Ofori.

"I remember previous years I used to watch this man [Eric Tinkler] play against Ghana. The vibe has always been there for long.

"I know we need to stay focused and at the end we need to make the country proud. It's going to be a great game."

Bafana beat Mali 2-1 in their last game, the Nelson Mandela Challenge in Port Elizabeth, and coach Molefi Ntseki is expected to use the same starting line-up minus midfielder Themba Zwane, who is still nursing an injury.

After the game in Accra, the national team is set to return immediately to prepare for their next qualifier against Sudan at Orlando Stadium on Sunday.
