In Africa: Rulani suffers shock cup exit, Ramovic wins big

Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Casablanca were dumped out of the The Moroccan Throne Cup after losing 1-0 to Moghreb Tetouan on Saturday evening.

Mokwena was already seemingly under pressure coming into the clash after the poor run of form in the Moroccan top-flight.

The day did not go as planned for Wydad, as Moghreb Tetouan bagged the winning goal in the 80th minute courtesy of a strike from Ayoub Lakhal.

Wydad will now ended the season without a trophy in back-to-back seasons.

Moving to Algeria, Sead Ramovic's CR Belouizdad kept their Ligue 1 title hopes alive with a 4-0 win over NC Magra.

With leaders MC Alger not in action, Ramovic's charges knew only a victory would suffice on the day.

Beluoizdad were ruthless on the day, as Aymen Mahious, Mohamed Balkhir, Abderrahamne Mziane and Rezki Hamroune were on all on target to seal the win to move the side four points behind Alger.

In Zimbabwe, Khama Billiat's Scottland FC kept up their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 win over Bikita Minerals.

Billiat had a goal disallowed and managed to grab an assist on the day, while former Polokwane City striker Walter Musona got his name on the score-sheet.

The win has move Scottland up to second spot on the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League table, one point behind league leaders MWOS.
