AmaZulu star George Maluleka has revealed that there is confident mood in the Usuthu camp ahead of this weekend's MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates.
The Kwa-Zulu Natal-based side are set to welcome Orlando Pirates to Durban on Saturday where they will compete with the Buccaneers to be crowned 2022 MTN8 champions at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

AmaZulu have never won the competition but recorded an impressive 1-1 aggregate win over Kaizer Chiefs in the semi-final on the away goals rule, and followed that up with a recent 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Usuthu star George Maluleka, who was named Man of the Match for his role in the win over Chiefs, reveals that confidence is high in the camp ahead of the clash against Orlando Pirates.

"It's a very big occasion," Maluleka told the media. "I think the mood is good an obviously, from the win against Stellenbosch, that was a very big confidence booster for us. I think we are in good spirits and confident.
"There is a lot of work and planning this week ahead of the game against Orlando Pirates, but the team is in good spirits."
